Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2019 Ford F-250 and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Reese gooseneck puck system. This system is going to be a great solution if you didn't get the puck system from the factory and you wanted one, or if you're looking for a truck on the market that doesn't have one, that's not the end of the world. You don't have to look for a truck that has it just to be able to get these same features. This system is going to be almost identical to the Ford factory puck system. You're gonna have the four pucks on the outside, which will accept your fifth wheel hitches, and then you'll have the gooseneck hole in the middle so that you can drop a gooseneck ball in there and be able to tow gooseneck trailers. more

Now this particular kit from CURT has a 2-5/16 inch ball and a 30,000 pound gross trailer weight rating. That's how much weight it's rated to pull. Now CURT does offer a different kit of this with a 38,000 pound weight capacity, so if you need a little bit more, you can check that out. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this Curt Gooseneck Ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit for your 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with the factory towing prep package. If you have the towing prep package, this is the easiest way to add a gooseneck ball to your truck and be able to tow a gooseneck trailer because it's just a drop-in system. Very easy to do, and when it's not in use, you can take it out and leave nothing behind, so there's full access to your truck bed. And you could easily swap this out for maybe a drop-in fifth wheel, if you also have that. more

Hey everyone, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2024 GMC Sierra 3500, we're gonna be checking out the Curt Goose Ball and Safety Chain Kit for trucks that have the OEM prep package. So nowadays, it's pretty convenient, a lot of these trucks are coming with the prep packages in place and it makes it super convenient to use, you know, a goose ball kit like this Curt one here, or even a fifth wheel for that matter 'cause they just drop into place and allow you to hook your trailer right up to 'em if your truck does not come equipped from the factory with that prep package, not a huge deal. There's a lot of other hitches available that will let you get the same thing done, more or less, and hook up to your trailers. With that said though, this kit will work with trucks that have a short bed or a long bed like ours today and it's gonna have a two and 5/16 diameter ball. Pretty much standard there as far as gooseneck trailers go. more

If your Silverado has the towing prep package and you need a way to tow a gooseneck trailer, this is the way to go. I mean, utilizing that factory prep package makes it one really quick and easy to add, but also very quick and easy to remove and it's already in your truck bed. You might as well utilize it. It's just a drop-in system that gives you the ball and the safety chain loop so you can be towing safely. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2024 Ram 1500, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Kit. Adding this gooseneck hitch to the back of your Ram 1500 is gonna allow you to do a couple of different things. You can use it for its sole purpose and haul gooseneck trailers. You can put B&W Companion in it and haul fifth wheel trailers. In our specific case, we cannot do the fifth wheel conversion because we have these Ram boxes on the side, and you will have to use a standard rail kit with a standard fifth wheel and use a side winder on your camper in order to haul a fifth wheel with your short bed truck. more

Now this kit is going to include your gooseneck ball, your two safety chain loop attachments, and a plug for whenever you're not using your gooseneck ball. If you want to throw this in there, you can do that. It's also going to come with this nice carrying case, so whenever you're not using it you can put all these components safely into the case, throw it in the back of your truck so you don't have to worry about this stuff rolling around. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose underbed gooseneck kit on a 2018 Ford F-250. You should be able to cover just about any camper and most heavy duty industrial loads whether it be heavy equipment or whatever else you may load up. Now the Hide-A-Goose is an interesting system. A lot of times on your fifth wheel, you're gonna have a lever on the side of the truck and that's gonna allow you to lock and unlock the ball in there. Now, some of those can get a little funky and they seem to hang up sometimes, whereas this is a little bit different. more

Now, the B&W hitch is going to be a great option to be able to tow gooseneck trailers down the road safely, but in addition to gooseneck trailers, B&W also makes the companion fifth wheel hitch whether you want the slider or the stationary one, they're both going to drop down into the square shank of your gooseneck. You'll take your ball out, drop your fifth wheel hitch down in it, it locks down to your bed so that you're safe to tow your fifth wheel trailer too. That's why I like the B&W hitch so much is because it's so versatile. They have other accessories that you can use too, but you can only use them with the B&W gooseneck hitch. more

This kit is going to include your gooseneck ball which is a 2 5/16 gooseneck ball rated at 30,000 pounds, two safety chain loops that are going to install in the rear two pucks. They do not fit in the front pucks. The design of the rear puck is a little bit different and it's not nearly as narrow as the front, so they'll install in your rears. What I like about 'em is that all three of 'em are going to lock into place. more

Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2024 GMC Sierra 3500, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the B&W turnover ball gooseneck hitch. Now, right off the bat, there's gonna be many different gooseneck hitches available for the 2024 GMC 3500. What the biggest thing that's gonna set this gooseneck hitch apart from the others, is that when you're not using it, simply pull the latch which releases the ball, flip it over, (metal clangs) and you can store it (metal clunks) inside of the hitch, and not have to worry about it being in the way. You can see that the top of our hitch is flush with the top of our corrugation here. And then, whenever you're ready to use it, you simply flip it over, (metal clunks) set it back down into place, and then latch the pin. more

I think it's really cool as of late that manufacturers started putting these prep packages in the back of their heavy-duty trucks, and it makes hauling a gooseneck trailer or even a fifth wheel super easy, because you can take the hitches and just set 'em into place and you're ready to rock and roll. And that's the case with this one, Everything more or less we'll just drop right in and utilize the factory-style puck system. With that said, the ball for this one is gonna be 2 and 5/16, so more or less standard, for all those types of goosenecks out there. And this one is rated for up to 30,000 pounds, so pretty high weight capacity. more

Hi, John with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the B&W Ball and Safety chain kit, and this is going on our 2019 Dodge Ram 3500 with the prep package. Now this is gonna give you that solid connection that you need if you have a gooseneck trailer. And this is gonna utilize the factory puck system or the prep package. And this is available for 5th wheels and just like this for gooseneck this thing is super easy to take in and out. And that's one of the things I like about this and goosenecks is that you can completely clear the bed if you need to haul lumber or anything else just to have the bed clear and you don't have a 5th wheel sitting back here that you have to take out every time you need bed space. more

It does come with a nice blow molded carrying case and I like that. Now the ball itself, this is gonna be chrome plated steel. You're gonna have two ball bearings down here and it's gonna operate and lock in with a switch and a tab up here. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this CURT Gooseneck kit for your factory puck system on your Ram trucks, and we'll be showing you it on our 2023 Ram 2500. Like the name suggests, this utilizes Ram's factory puck system, and the main star (metal clanging) of the show here is of course the gooseneck ball itself. It's gonna be a 2 5/16 ball with a 30,000 pound weight capacity. Now it releases with this tab up top, flipping it up, rotating it a quarter turn to the side, and it will just lift up outta that puck system, and you can see the ball bearing system inside. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the B&W underbed gooseneck kit on a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. Now, this is what it's gonna look like when it's installed. And you can see, pretty quickly, that your ball just kinda drops in here and your safety chain loops are spring-loaded, so it's gonna keep it nice and flat. And the great part about having a gooseneck, especially this one here, is gonna be the fact that when you're not using this, you can simply take the ball, turn it over, drop it in place and your bed is still a truck bed. And you can see, the clearances here really don't take up anything. more

B and W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the B&W under bed goose neck kit on a 2022 Ford F-350. Now this kit installs underneath your bed allowing you to hook up to your goose neck, and the ball is gonna be nice and easy to remove and whenever you need to actually use this, you're just gonna drop it in place, and then the handle on the side is gonna allow you to lock that in. But the great part is, is normally with some other goosenecks, you're having to find a spot to keep the ball and normally it's gonna be having grease all over it and that's kind of normal to keep that nice and clean, but the problem is you gotta store it somewhere. So in order to get all of your bed access, you can see this is nice and flush, even with our safety chains here, it's as simple as dropping this in upside down. Either way, you can see there's holes on both sides and that way this is gonna be nice and flush, it's gonna lock in place and your ball's gonna be ready to use it whenever you need it. So whenever you are ready to hook up, super easy, there's a little handle here to pull this up, you'll simply just flip it over, drop this in place, lock it in, and you're ready to go. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look and installing the Curt Underbed Gooseneck Kit on a 2013 Ford F-250 Super Duty. Now this gooseneck kit is rated at 30,000 pounds and it's got a vertical limit of 7,500 so this is gonna be pretty heavy duty. So whatever you're be pulling with your gooseneck, they should hold up to it. Now you're gonna wanna check to see what your vehicle's capable before just hooking up to anything. But overall with those numbers, this is not gonna be the weak point of your towing system. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the B&W underbed gooseneck kit for a 2022 Ram 2500 with the OEM prep package. Now, this is what it's gonna look like when it's installed. And when you're ready to hook up to your gooseneck, you'll have your ball right here and you can use the latch on the side to lock that in. But the great part about this kit is the fact that when you're not using this, you can actually stow this upside down and it's gonna fit in there with no problems. It's also gonna make sure that you have full access of your bed and even your safety chain loops sit pretty good in between the corrugations here to maximize the flatness of your bed, so it's not gonna be in the way when you need your truck to be a truck. more

So this is everything we're going to get with our kit here starting out with the carrying case. So the carrying case is a nice heavy duty plastic here and you can see everything is molded to the shape of our component. So it's gonna fit in there nicely. It's not gonna be rattling around and when we're not using everything we're gonna keep this inside the vehicle. So everything's there. more

Hey everyone, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Reese Elite Series Pop-In Gooseneck Hitch Ball Kit here on a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. So this is everything our kit is going to come with, starting with the bag here, so this is a really nice carrying case, you can see we have some handles on here, and this is gonna fit all the components you see here inside this bag. Now, this is a nice, soft padded case, it doesn't take up a ton of space, so it's great to store inside your vehicle, so you have everything there when you need it. Next, we have our little rubber plug here, so this is gonna go into the gooseneck opening here of the trailer hitch on our truck, and it's gonna protect the gooseneck opening from any dirt, debris, contaminants getting in there, possibly messing up the mechanism. Next, on the outside here, we have our safety chain loop, so these are gonna be required by law to attach your safety chains to the truck, and these are basically just gonna provide a nice, wide opening there for your clevis hooks. They have a nice black powder coated finish as well, so it's gonna protect them from rust and corrosion, 'cause these things are made out of metal. more
